Anna Kendrick

Anna Kendrick was born to Janice (Cooke), an accounting professional and William Kendrick (a teacher). Her older brother is, Michael Cooke Kendrick, who has also performed. She is of English, Irish, and Scottish descent.For her role in the role of "Dinah" in "High Society" on Broadway, Anna Kendrick was nominated for a Tony Award (second youngest ever) and she also won a Drama Desk Award, and the Fany Award (best actress featured in a musical). Her amazing performance won her Theatre World Award and Drama League Award. She was also a part-time performer in Cabaret's Kit Kat Club at "Carnegie Hall Live", in Great Performances, My Favorite Broadway: the Leading Ladies (1999). (TV).
