Anna Kendrick

Anna Kendrick was born to Janice (Cooke), an accounting professional and William Kendrick (a teacher). Her older brother is, Michael Cooke Kendrick, who has also performed. She is of English, Irish, and Scottish descent.For her role in the role of "Dinah" in "High Society" on Broadway, Anna Kendrick was nominated for a Tony Award (second youngest ever) and she also won a Drama Desk Award, and the Fany Award (best actress featured in a musical). Her amazing performance won her Theatre World Award and Drama League Award. She was also a part-time performer in Cabaret's Kit Kat Club at "Carnegie Hall Live", in Great Performances, My Favorite Broadway: the Leading Ladies (1999). (TV). Along with Scott Ellis and Susan Stroman she was able to collaborate with Jeremy Irons at the New York City Opera House. She was the character Fredrika in the film "A Little Night Music" and was a part of Todd Graff on the feature film Camp (2003). The second youngest nominated (after the 1991 Tony winner in the same category, Daisy Eagan) in Tony history. George Clooney ridiculed her on the set of their film Up in the Air (2009) because she was flying from this set to Twilight (2008)'s, filming at the same time.Was Jason Reitman's initial and only choice for the role of Natalie Keener in the film Up in the Air (2009).Ranked at #15 on the People's "25 Beauties (and Hotties) at 25" list in 2011.Jason Reitman played her for the role of Natalie Keener in Up in the Air (2009) after seeing her role in Rocket Science (2007).Only actress of the 'Twilight Saga' to be recognized for an Oscar when the  series was in production.
