Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix is a Los Angeles native born on the 18th of November, 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister ordained at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a elementary school teacher at Balboa Magnet. Felix's ability to compete in athletics was evident right from the day she started attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. A mere 10 weeks after the initial time she tried out the sport, she finished second in 200m at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003, signed the sports contract with Adidas. She then attended an institution called the University of Southern California and pursued a degree in elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic award at 2004 Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s which set a new junior world record. She was the youngest participant in the 200 meter in the world championships in Helsinki in the year 2005. She won her medal once again in 2007, defeating the long-time Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed in the top 3 in her various races during the Olympics which took place during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
